About the talk: Prof. Janaki Srinivasan was invited to give a glimpse into her book “”The Political Lives of Information: Information and the Production of Development in India” at the School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University. Prof. Srinivasan spoke of the ways in which the definition, production, and leveraging of information are shaped by caste, class, and gender – by examining three cases in India.
