Trustworthy Digital ID International Conference 2023, co-hosted by the Alan Turing Institute, UK and IIIT-Bangalore

IIIT-Bangalore along with the Alan Turing Institute, UK will hosted a hybrid conference on ‘Trustworthy Digital ID” on the 14th and 15th of September 2023. The event was created as part of the Trustworthy Digital Infrastructure for Identity Systems project funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and is in its 3rd year as an international forum for researchers, practitioners, open source advocates and developers to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, results, experiences and concerns on adoption of digital identity systems.

CITAPP at IIIT Bangalore is an interdisciplinary think-tank set-up to focus on the policy challenges and the organizational demands made by technological innovation. Of particular interest to the Centre is how technological advances, along with institutional changes that harness the legitimacy and the powers of bureaucracies and market, address the needs of underserved communities.
