Amit Prakash invited to the International Conference on Digital Economy, IIM Raipur

IIM Raipur, in association with Association for Information Systems – India Chapter (INAIS), organised the 5th International Conference on Digital Economy (ICDE). International Conference on Digital Economy is IIM Raipur’s flagship conference dedicated to the cause of advancing the interest of Digital Economy in the country. The theme of this year’s conference was “Building a Resilient Digital Economy”.

Prof. Amit Prakash was invited to moderate a panel discussion on transforming the Indian IT ecosystem and its expectations from the Information Systems field. Speakers on this panel included Bill Thies (Everwell), Shubhranshu Chowdhury (CG Net Swara, Chhattisgarh) and V. Namasivayam (Kerala State Planning Board).

CITAPP at IIIT Bangalore is an interdisciplinary think-tank set-up to focus on the policy challenges and the organizational demands made by technological innovation. Of particular interest to the Centre is how technological advances, along with institutional changes that harness the legitimacy and the powers of bureaucracies and market, address the needs of underserved communities.
