V. Sridhar presents papers at the Second Regional International Telecommunications Society Conference, New Delhi

Description: V. Sridhar presented two papers at the Second Regional International Telecommunications Society Conference, New Delhi held during 13-15th December 2015.

The paper titled “A techno-economic study of Wi-Fi adoption in India” was co-authored by Rohit Prasad (MDI, Gurgaon). Another paper titled “Diffusion of Broadband: Growth models and comparison across countries” was co-authored by Sunil Mani (CDS, Thiruvananthapuram).

CITAPP at IIIT Bangalore is an interdisciplinary think-tank set-up to focus on the policy challenges and the organizational demands made by technological innovation. Of particular interest to the Centre is how technological advances, along with institutional changes that harness the legitimacy and the powers of bureaucracies and market, address the needs of underserved communities.
