V. Sridhar delivered a talk at a research seminar on “Techno Economics of Spectrum: Case of India” at Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR), Mumbai, on 20th January 2016.
V. Sridhar presented two papers at the Second Regional International Telecommunications Society Conference, New Delhi held during 13-15th December 2015.
The paper titled “A techno-economic study of Wi-Fi adoption in India” was co-authored by Rohit Prasad (MDI, Gurgaon). Another paper titled “Diffusion of Broadband: Growth models and comparison across countries” was co-authored by Sunil Mani (CDS, Thiruvananthapuram).
Janaki Srinivasan is co-organizing a Mini-Conference as a part of to be held in Berkeley, California, along with Dean Curran (Professor, University of Calgary), Dave Elder-Vass (Senior lecturer, Loughborough University), Elisa Oreglia (Lecturer, SOAS, University of London) and Nikos Sotirakopoulos (Lecturer, Loughborough University).
The mini-conference theme is: Moral Economies of the Digital. The deadline for submitting the abstracts is 1st February, 2016.

The paper was selected as one of the best 3 papers for presentation in the session on Competition Reforms as a Tool for Public Welfare.
