V. Sridhar presented two papers at the Second Regional International Telecommunications Society Conference, New Delhi held during 13-15th December 2015.

The paper titled “A techno-economic study of Wi-Fi adoption in India” was co-authored by Rohit Prasad (MDI, Gurgaon). Another paper titled “Diffusion of Broadband: Growth models and comparison across countries” was co-authored by Sunil Mani (CDS, Thiruvananthapuram).

Janaki Srinivasan is co-organizing a Mini-Conference as a part of to be held in Berkeley, California, along with Dean Curran (Professor, University of Calgary), Dave Elder-Vass (Senior lecturer, Loughborough University), Elisa Oreglia (Lecturer, SOAS, University of London) and Nikos Sotirakopoulos (Lecturer, Loughborough University).

The mini-conference theme is: Moral Economies of the Digital. The deadline for submitting the abstracts is 1st February, 2016.

Sridhar presents paper titled “Two-sided Markets, Platforms and their impact on Economy” at the 4th Biennial Competition, Regulation and Development Conference held in Nairobi, Kenya during 12-13 December, 2015. The paper was selected as one of the best 3 papers for presentation in the session on Competition Reforms as a Tool for Public Welfare.
